The protection and prevention is needed on both sides of the border, the implementation of this particular project occurs in both countries. The planning and carrying out of these works is the task of the water management and environmental experts, who can share the best accessable practice in protection and prevention. The project is inspired by the Tisza and Catchment Area Subcommittee of the Hungarian-Slovak Cross-border Waters Committee. The target of the project: The target of the project is to develop the operative collaboration and communication between the two water management organizations in the interest of the tasks concerning cross-border waters, considering the EU Water Framework Directive. A study is prepared by the participants which gives a summery of the final conclusions and issues. The closing document of the project contains the recommendations for the Tisza and Catchment Area Subcommittee of the Hungarian-Slovak Cross-border Waters Committee. An infopoint is set up at ÉKÖVÍZIG and SVP, to provide environmental data to civil and professional organizations.
